Evaluate your strengths
Our vocational evaluation program guides you in clarifying career goals and selecting
training programs to reach them. To help job seekers or the newly hired make a successful
transition to work, we counsel in areas such as interviewing, mastering new job
tasks and work site orientation.
Sharpen your skills
Our training programs teach you practical work skills required in functional occupational
areas, such as general office support, customer service, laboratory assistant training,
Microsoft applications support, product assembly and retailing. We also offer High
School Equivalency preparation and in-vehicle driver education programs.
Find a job
Through our wide network of employers, our placement specialists assist you in exploring
job opportunities in many industries. We help you employment goals, develop a resume,
embark on a job search, complete job applications and improve interviewing skills.
There is a resource room equipped with Internet access, fax machine, TTY, and staff
to assist you with your cover letters, references, and job search. Placement specialists
also assist in following up with job leads and provide on the job support.

take advantage of our classroom instruction, practical application and on-site work
experiences. We consistently place about 80% of our trainees in competitive employment,
in industries such as banking and finance, health care and pharmaceuticals, information
technology, manufacturing, professional services and retail.

The purpose of this evaluation is to assist parents and the Committee on Special Education to plan and deliver transition services. It is a comprehensive vocational evaluation that uses work, real or simulated, as the basis for assessment and vocational counseling.

assists recipients of public assistance with disabilities in the Bronx gain valuable work experiences and skills to qualify for jobs. Individuals are provided with the necessary support and guidance to overcome barriers to employment.
