Prosper Graduation 2011

On Friday June 3rd, 2011 the PROSPER program at Abilities Inc. celebrated its 14th annual graduation ceremony, honoring the students, business people and school district personnel for their achievements, partnerships and participation. Attendance numbered over 200 people including students, friends, family and staff. Both Freeport High School and Westbury High School administrators, guidance counselors and directors attended the ceremony as well as some board members from Abilities Inc. PROSPER class Alumni returned to deliver heart felt speeches as did the current students and their parents.

In the words from our president, Jessica Swirsky who stated “I am deeply proud of all of you and filled with pride for the value you place on your work and the role you each have played in these students’ lives. WOW!!! Thank you for making my day today and that of everyone else who was blessed to be there.” Confirming the mood and feelings of the celebration.
